SIGHTSEEING - CORCOVADO AND SUGAR LOAF
This full day tour takes you to the two most famous landmarks of Rio de Janeiro. You will be picked from your hotel and take to the station of the Corcovado railway station. From there starts a 25 minutes journey through lush forest area all the way up to the Corcovado mountain (3,5km) where you will find the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer. Before returning back to the train you will have time on you own to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking views over the city. After having visited the Corcovado you will be dropped-off at a restaurant where a delicious lunch (included in the price) is waiting for you. The afternoon starts with a visit to the Botanical Garden after which you will be droven through the central Rio with its colonial style buildings to the Praia Vermelha. From here you can take a cable car ride to the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain and enjoy the wonderful views over the beaches, mountains and the city. The magical sunset is a perfect ending for a perfect day before returning back to your hotel. |
